Lindsey's services are currently covered under some United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Aetna plans. She also provides superbills to clients with other insurance plans.

HSA and FSA payments are accepted.

Masshealth clients and single mother discounts are available. If price/payment is a problem, please reach out to discuss this with us.

Please feel free to Contact Us with any further questions about insurance coverage.

3

Do you do prenatal appointments?

Yes! We highly recommend working with us prenatally to optimize your breastfeeding experience. Some insurance plans cover prenatal visits as well. Read more about prenatal appointments with us here.

4

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes, telehealth is convenient and appropriate for some breastfeeding issues and usually for prenatal visits. It may be covered by insurance, depending on your plan. Check out our Book Now page for pricing.

5

Do you send visit reports to doctors?

With your permission, reports of care plans and visit summaries will be sent to your obstetric and pediatric providers as needed. Most pediatricians strongly prefer to have any information regarding outside services that their patients are receiving. We also prefer to communicate your other providers when appropriate. This enables all of us to provide you and your baby with the best care possible.

6

Do you diagnose medical issues?

No, we do not. We will provide referrals to appropriate providers when a diagnosis is necessary.

7

Do you recommend formula?

We are not allowed to promote formula use as per the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes. However, we will recommend temporary or long-term supplementation with breastmilk or formula when medically necessary. If this is the case, we can assist you in choosing a type of formula.

8

Are you culturally competent, LGBTQIA-friendly, and BIPOC-friendly?

Yes. All cultural, religious, and personal preferences will be protected throughout our time working with you. If you require specific accommodations, please make us aware so we can make every effort to create a respectful, safe experience.

9

Do you push your clients to feed babies a certain way?

No. Your body, your choice. We want to assist you in making your journey as smooth and positive as possible. We will support you in any choice that you feel is best for you and your family.
